Marathas of Tanjore, Venkoji, Mahalakshmi Mudra, 18th century, Lead, 2.89 g, Nagari legend in two lines reading, Maha / Lakshmi on obv, and Nagari Maha / raj on rev. NGS graded as AMS 58, Unpublished, reported for the first time here, and probably commemorating Goddess Mahalakshmi of Kolhapur, the Family Goddess of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who made a special worship at the Kolhapur temple and issued Nazarana coins for presentation to the Goddess.
