Muhammad Akbar II, Gold, 10.76 g, Mohur, Shahjahanabad Dar ul Khilafat Mint, mint name at top on rev, RY 2, a Chhatra (Umbrella) as a mint mark on obv., Sahib Qiran type, with decorated fields on both sides (KM# 781). Almost UNC, Very Rare. Gold coins of Muhammad Akbar II were minted only for ceremonial purposes like Eid or Diwali or anniversary of the king. These coins minted in limited quantity were used for presentation purposes only and were harldy put into circulation as the mint was under the supervision of the East India Company. Hence the rarity of these coins.
