Azad Hind of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, a Cheque Book issued by the National Bank of Azad Hind Ltd, from Rangoon. The Cheque Book is a historical piece for the Independence Movement of India in 1940s. The Azad Hind was founded by the national freedom Fighter Subhas Chandra Bose. This cheque book was issued by Subhas Babu’s Bank in 1940s at Rangoon, Burma. The Cheque Book is numbered from B8676 to B8700. An extremley historical piece of history of India and Burma. This is also an important piece directly related with our national hero Subhas Babu. It is had 25 cheque leaves but the first cheque of 8676 is issued with its counterfoil preserved without any annotations. Cheque no. 8678 is missing with its counterfoil, all other cheque leaves are intact. It also contains unissued new Cheqube Book Requision Slip after the cheque number 8697. The cheque book also has a Fancy number of 8687, reading backwards gives the number of 7868. The Cheque Book is numbered as B348. Only 400 such cheque books were printed and issued to public, probably in July 1944. The Cheque Books were printed by the Premier Printing Works, located at No. 16, Hlaing River Road, West Kamayut, Burma. An extremley historical piece of history of India and Burma. This is also an important piece directly related with our national hero Subhas Babu.
